A New View: International Exchange

A New View is designed to give local students an understanding of the experiences that exchange students go through when moving across the world to study abroad.

Educating local student about the challenges faced by their international classmates could go a long way to improving their experience, both on and off campus.

The prototype game consists of 3 scenarios that the player can go through to experience a selection of some challenges that exchange student commonly face, such as language barriers and cultural differences.

The scenarios play out from the perspective of an unnamed student of unspecified background, as they try to complete simple everyday tasks, meet new people, and navigate systems that do not exists in their home country.
